Kaohsiung eats early, and by 11am the good stalls are in full swing. We take you through them in the order a local would: something savoury and hot, something you have never seen before, something sweet at the end.
Expect rice noodles, temple-side snacks, a fruit you cannot pronounce, and at least one dish you will try to find again after you leave. We tell you what is in everything before you eat it, so allergies and dietary limits are genuinely no problem — just tell us on the booking form.
All food and drinks on the route are hosted by Her Journey.
