Frequently asked
- How do I know my booking is confirmed?
- Submitting the booking form sends us a request. It becomes a confirmed booking only when you receive our confirmation email from herjourneytw@gmail.com. If your date is full, we will email you with alternatives.
- Do I pay in advance?
- No. All our tours are paid on the day, in person. Free walking tours are tip-based — pay whatever you think it was worth, or nothing at all.
- What if it rains?
- Kaohsiung rain is usually short. We carry umbrellas and adjust the route. If a typhoon or a serious storm is forecast, we will contact you the day before to reschedule.
- Can you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?
- Yes, as long as you tell us on the booking form. We order for you and we know what is in everything, so vegetarian, pork-free, shellfish-free and most allergies are manageable with notice.
- Do you guide in Chinese?
- Our tours are designed and run in English. Mandarin and Taiwanese are our first languages, so mixed groups are fine — just tell us in advance.
- Can you take a large group?
- Our published rates cover groups up to five people, and our tours run up to eight. For anything larger, send a custom tour request and we will quote you.
