Zuoying Culture Experience Tour
Half a day inside the temples, markets and kitchens of the old city
This is our full Zuoying day, and the one we recommend if you only have one morning in Kaohsiung.
We cover the same ground as the free walk, then keep going. You will learn how to ask a Taiwanese god a yes-or-no question with two wooden blocks, and how to read the answer. We walk through a morning market where the vendors know us, and you taste your way along it. We finish with a sit-down lunch of Zuoying dishes that we order for you — no pointing at pictures, no wondering what you just ate.
Food and drinks during the tour are on us. That is how hospitality works here, and we would like you to experience it properly.
